My name is Marta, I have an Adult Nursing Degree BSc (Hons), with a Postgraduate Certificate Anaesthetic Course and an Adult and Paediatric Immediate Life Support Course.

I am passionate about hair and scalp science, big enthusiast for natural hair, thrilled to base my knowledge with detail, accuracy and scientific research. I decided to take a Trichology Course to become a Certified Trichologist (Hair and Scalp Specialist) with the International Association of Trichologists and to set up the CliniHair Clinic. 

I’m also currently a member of the International Association of Trichologists and soon, to apply to be a member of the The Institute of Trichologists.

I am able to prescribe medication, since I’ve finished the Prescribing For Nurses: Independent And Supplementary (V300) at the University of Portsmouth, making me the first Prescribing Trichologist in the UK.

At the moment, I am also studying a MSc in Dermatology in Clinical Practice with the University of South Wales to become an even more specialized Trichologist.

I’ve also finished the course by TRI Princeton, a leading-edge, global center for cosmetic science research, focused mainly on the hair care and skin care categories, on Fundamentals of Hair Science and Hair Claims.

I’m also a Hair Expert – Member of the Route Panel for Hair and Beauty for the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, where I’m doing strategic views across the route and make recommendations to IfATE’s Compliance Board on apprenticeship standards and the content of technical education qualifications.
